Just wanted to let people know that I'm planning to overhaul my site, yet again. I figure now's the best time to do it. Why? Well for one, the original intention for this site was simplicity and quickness; something to land me steady employment and two, I know a lot of designers who have a goal to one day be creatively independent, holding a steady business of their own. I'm one of them.
You never know when could be your last paycheck, so now's the time to make the transition over to a more web servicing, feed your creative needs, type of site.
Maybe I shouldn't be blogging about this kind of stuff while I have a job, and like I mentioned, my job couldn't be better. I know it will all come in due time and there are a lot of things I'd like to do to better establish myself with my current employer, but like they say, its either now or never.

Right back at yah!
I know I haven't been utilizing the best of the blogging experience, something I should take more time in doing being that social media is now everything web. I've been keeping busy with work, as always, trying to make ends meet.
A few things I'd like to ramble about, regarding my current stint with my my employer:
1. I love the people I work with!
I don't think I've ever been around such great people on a day to day basis. That's even in comparison with my educational years.
2. I'm learning effective management skills, from a great leader.
Not to many people would like to "big-ups" their boss and right fully so, I've worked with a few interesting ones, however Matt Certo, our president and CEO comes across as a laid back, easy to talk to, all while managing effective, kind of guy.
3. I'm lucky!
Everyone knows about our current economic issues. I'm very to have a job, all while having included the aforementioned above.
Keep posted for some new updates to the portfolio. Just a few things I've done so far while at WebSolvers. I'd love to get some feedback/responses.

The freelance effect
Lately, a lot of projects have been appearing on my plate and with the current state of our economy, they could not have come at a better time. It's a great feeling to know that my profession does not rely on your typical 9 to 5 schedule. Although I am employed, should there be a situation where I am not, I'm comfortable with knowing I can work from the comforts of my own home, doing what I do best and enjoying it.
The need for graphic/web design, has not halted over this economic crisis nor should it. In fact, people are now pushing harder to sell and advertise their products so they can make ends meet. Hopefully things pull together soon for the sake of others, but its good to know that my services should continue to prosper. Anyone need a website?
